Azur @ Crown Plaza Changi Airport - Launches The Seafood N' Grill Weekend Buffet
Azur at Crown Plaza Changi Airport has made a comeback with its popular Seafood N' Grill Weekend buffet! Diners can indulge in a tantalising spread of fresh premium seafood delights and grill dishes during the Seafood N' Grill Dinner Buffet promotion, available every Friday and Saturday till 29 July 2023.
Indulge in the array of fresh and succulent Seafood-On-Ice, which features fresh oysters, snow crab legs, New Zealand green-lipped mussels, half-shelled scallops and poached sweet prawns, as well as fresh sushi and sashimi.
Azur Restaurant's Char-Grilled Seafood section is not to be missed as you canter down the aisle. Be sure to tuck into other seafood delicacies prepared ala minute, with the chefs grilling the baby crayfish, jumbo prawns, and skewer squids over charcoal fire.
Amp up your palette with the Herb's Thyme Rubbed Roasted Wagyu Rump at the Chef's carving section. Pair the tender and juicy wagyu rump with sauces and condiments such as the Merlot Beef Jus, Béarnaise or French Mustard.
In addition to all these mouth-watering selections, you will also get to enjoy their Peranakan delicacies, with all-time classics such as the Ayam Curry Kapitan, Homemade Ngoh Hiang, Chap Chye, and Nonya Assam Mackerel.
For carb-loving diners, indulge in the Nonya Hokkien Mee with Shrimp, Squid and Pork Belly or the Nonya Fried Rice with Shrimp and Balachan.
Not to be missed is the Nonya Iberico Rice Dumpling, where they have entire rice dumplings filled with premium ingredients, including five-spiced Iberico pork, dried scallops, mushrooms, chestnut, salted egg and dried shrimps.
Diners who prefer Western options may also choose from the mouth-watering selection of their Western show kitchen. Savour the signature Char-grilled Angus Beef Steak with Burnt Onion Sauce, Lamb with Mustard with Red Wine Jus, Scallop Cheese Gratin, and French Chicken with Rosemary.
Complete the delectable dining experience with decadent treats from the Dessert Bar, including the American Cheesecake, Green Tea Chestnut Mousse, Chocolate Brownie, Red Velvet, Lemon Meringue Tart, and Vanilla Berries Panna Cotta. There is also a tall chocolate fondue served with marshmallows, fruit skewers and waffle cubes. You can also pair them with a delectable scoop of gelato.

Estate @ Hilton Singapore Orchard - Unveils New Epicurean Buffet Offerings For Lunch And Dinner
Hilton Singapore Orchard's residential all-day buffet restaurant, Estate unveils a range of sumptuous new gourmet offerings on their spread for lunch and dinner from May 5, 2023 onwards. Diners can indulge in a tantalising variety of elevated local and regional dishes, each crafted with the finest and freshest ingredients to delight the taste buds and awaken the senses.
Guests looking to start their dinner light can first head to the Raw and Seafood Bar, where in addition to the succulent seafood available for lunch, diners can also enjoy freshly shucked seasonal oysters on ice and thick cuts of sashimi and sushi rolls.
Exclusively for dinner are the Premium Meats and Live Carvings of Estate Signature Black Truffle Roasted Duck with fried tofu and peanut crust, as well as the locally sourced Whole Barramundi with green pepper, chilli, potato, coriander and spring onion.
Another new highlight exclusive to dinner is a refreshed take on flavours for the Grilled Skewers, where carnivores will find a delectable range of meats well-marinated with homemade marinades created by Sri Lankan chef and butcher Bala from Estate's culinary team. Highlights include Chicken Shish Taouk, Fish Kebab, Beef Kofta, and Black Curry Pork Skewer.
The dinner buffet boasts a daily rotational menu of Western and modern Asian delights that will appeal to every palate. Diners who enjoy French specialities can indulge in the Baked Chicken with Dijon Creme Sauce and Grilled Angus Cube Roll with rich peppercorn brandy cream sauce.
The Carribean Coconut Mussel Curry is not to be missed, where perfectly cooked mussels are drenched in a rich and fragrant coconut curry sauce.
One of our favourites is the cooked-to-order Cantonese-style Wagyu Beef Handmade Noodles with tender beef tendon, white radish and a rich, soothing beef broth at the Noodles Kitchen.
Other Asian specialities include Szechuan-style Spicy and Soup with tofu, black fungus, mushrooms, sea cucumber and shredded chicken to start, and stop by the porridge station for a comforting bowl of Hong Kong-style Chicken Ball Congee with minced chicken ball, braised peanuts, century and salted eggs.
The dessert selection for dinner offers guests an even more comprehensive choice of toothsome treats like Rose Velvet Cake, Mixed Nuts Fudge Brownie, Bread and Butter Pudding. Diners can also head over to the Charcoal Waffle Ice Cream corner to enjoy freshly made charcoal waffles with creamy vanilla and chocolate gelatos.
Estate offers a range of sweet treats served in the restaurant’s iconic glass jars. Highlights include the Black Sesame Taro, Lychee Sakura Velveteen, and Coconut Pineapple Panna Cotta.

Unilever Buffet Restaurant @ Halcyon 2 - Seafood BBQ Buffet In Jalan Pemimpin
Unilever Buffet opened its doors starting mid-January 2023, offering diners a seafood and BBQ buffet in Jalan Pemimpin. It is $53.90 per adult, while children between 5 to 12 years old are at $23.90 per pax on weekdays and $27.90 per pax on weekends. They are running a 50% promo from now till April 2023, with more details on their Facebook page.
Fresh Food Section
There are oysters, salmon sashimi, chirashi, prawns, mussels and scallops in the fresh food section, while the snow crab legs are provided in limited portions per pax. Though we appreciated the creaminess of the oysters, the freshness among the rest of the other items could have been better.
BBQ Section
BBQ is the highlight of the buffet here. They use smoke-free automatic grillers, which helps to reduce the possibility of lingering BBQ smells on your belongings after the meal.
The selection includes fish, pork, chicken and beef, all available in 10 types of marination. The marinations are black pepper, Thai, German, sambal, Japanese, Korean, lemongrass, garlic, mala, and kimchi. A range of condiment dips is also available to pair with the eats. Unfortunately, we did find some of the marinations too salty, while the flavours we preferred more were the black pepper and German style.
Cooked Food Section
For cooked food during our time of visit, there was a spread of 6 dishes - chilli crabs, sweet and sour fish, pork trotters, fried rice, fried noodles and vegetables with mushrooms. They were generous with the chilli crabs, but the overall quality of the spread could be improved.
Dessert Section
Free Flow Bubble Tea
Lastly, for beverages, there is free flow bubble tea, alongside calamansi, blueberry and orange juices, while desserts were a mixture of bakes, such as eclair, cream puffs and swiss rolls.

L'Espresso @ Goodwood Park Hotel - English Afternoon Tea Buffet With Rosy Delights In Support Of Breast Cancer Awareness Month This October
In support of the annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) this October, Goodwood Park Hotel proudly presents a line-up of rosy-themed treats as special highlights within the popular English Afternoon Tea Buffet with Local Favourites and Rosy Delights at L'Espresso. In addition, a $3 nett donation will be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation for every adult dining on this buffet from 1 to 31 October 2022.
Diners are invited to feast on an indulgent selection of petite sandwiches, pink finger sandwiches of cucumber & cream cheese, and egg & truffle aioli.
The mini croissants include favourite flavours like tuna salad and salmon & brie cheese with honey mustard.
The dainty savoury tarts feature interesting flavour combinations such as the stone crabmeat salad with pink grapefruit and mentaiko dressing, greenland shrimp with raspberry mango aioli and beetroot cream cheese with forest berries compote. The fruit zestiness added a refreshing twist to the seafood.
The fried food section includes the juicy baked Mexican-style chicken mid-joint wings, crispy cheese croquette, spam fries and popcorn chicken.
One of our favourites is the mini pork burger with seafood cutlet and mentaiko mayonnaise. The seafood cutlet was superbly tender, which paired well with the mentaiko sauce.
There are also meaty choices of an assortment of skewers and roast carvings. Not to be missed is the beef wellington which has an incredibly tender and succulent beef tenderloin wrapped in a crispy, buttery pastry shell.
For local favourites, mouth-watering dishes like Laksa, Dry Mee Siam, Png Kueh, Crispy Yam Cake and Singapore Chilli Crabmeat with Mantou are not to be missed.
To end the meal or enjoy in-between, savour a wide array of rosy-themed desserts such as the Pink Pomelo Cream Tart and Raspberry Cheesecake that will delight those with a sweet tooth.
