With Christmas just around the corner, partake in joyful moments with a variety of gourmet experience at Shangri-la Group. Savour Christmas offerings the chefs have prepared for the upcoming festivities from 4 hotels: Shangri-La Hotel, Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa & Spa, Hotel Jen Orchard Gateway Singapore by Shangri-La, Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore by Shangri-La with sumptuous festive buffet spreads, 900 carefully curated festive selections and seasonal goodies.
Indulge in a feast at The Line at Shangri-La Hotel with 16 live theatre kitchens. Highlights include dishes such as the Seared Scallop and Pistachio Crush on Edame Paste, as well as delicious roasts including the Classic Turkey with Yorkshire Pudding and Roasted Wagyu Rime Ribs.
Revel in the lavish spread of seafood on ice, with the freshest sashimi, baby lobsters, clams, prawns, and Oysters. Along with the slew of Asian and Western mains, and festive desserts, the buffet is available from 4 November 2019 to 1 January 2020.
Bask in the festivity at Makan@Jen, Hotel Jen Orchard Gateway, with unique creations including the Gammon Ham Glazed with Mint Soda, Sundried Tomato & Basil Spiral Sausages, and Spinach Chained Sausages. We loved the gammon ham where the addition of the mint soda added a pleasant sweetness to the dish and balances the saltiness of the ham.
Another interesting creation is the photo-worthy colourful doughnut wall and an array of dessert shooters. Guests can enjoy an early bird promotion of 15% off the festive meals if the reservation is made with full pre-payment from 15 November to 10 December.
Relish in the traditional toasts, as well as Asian and Indian highlights such as the Tandoori Turkey from Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa & Spa's Silver Shell Cafe & Barnacles by the Sea.
They also offer the freshest Alaskan crabs, Boston lobsters and oysters from an artfully sculpted seafood on ice display.
J65 at Hotel Jen Tanglin's festive specials encompass a live seafood BBQ experience and an array of multi-cultural cuisine. Highlights include the prawns, squid and seabass in spicy lychee seafood parcel, signature Boston lobsters, fresh Dungeness crabs, Whole Baked Norwegian Salmon, and Asian Percik Style Roasted Turkey.
Another unique turkey creation they have introduced is their Roasted Espresso & Truffle Flavoured Turkey, where the bittersweetness of the espresso and truffle aroma compliments well with each other. Guests can enjoy an early bird promotion of 20% off their total bill for any buffet reservation made with full pre-payment from 1 November to 14 December.
The Limited-edition Christmas Signature Carousel Cake ($298) is made with pain d'epices (french spice cake), orange marmalade, and jivara bavaroise. This intricate creation has a limited quantity of 50 pieces and is beautifully packaged in a crimson box with a unique serial number for keepsake.
The thoughtfully designed log cakes and festive bakes from Shophouse at Shangri-La Hotel will elevate any Christmas feast. Expect an all new-exclusive creation, the Cocoa Bean Strawberry Log Cake ($75), Coffee & Baileys Log Cake ($72), and the all-time favourite Grandma 66% Yule Log Cake ($72). The Chestnut & Yuzu Log Cake ($75) is a refreshing combination of almond sponge and Japanese yuzu-infused pear compote.
Up the celebratory feast this Christmas with gorgeous 3D cakes in the shapes of festive characters (from $108) such as the Polar Bear 3D Christmas Cake, Reindeer and Christmas Tree 3D Christmas Cake.
Takeaways will be available for orders from 1 November till 28 December, with collection from 1 December to 31 December. Guests can enjoy an early bird discount of 10% off the festive takeaways for orders made with full pre-payment from 1 November to 14 December.
