Celerating the 20th years of Singapore Food Festival, Singapore Food & Beverage Alliance (SFBA) has organised a 10 day food bonanza at Marina Bay from 12 to 21 July 2013 opening from 11am to 11pm. Admission is Free. The Singapore Favourite Food Village (SFF Village) is conveniently located at Marina Avenue (Marina Bay) next to Bayfront MRT station featuring a total of 40 different local favourite dishes to feast on.
After a public voting from 6 May to 2 June 2013, food lovers had cast their votes online for their favourite local vendor in each of the 20 categories featured in this year Singapore Food Festival. A total of 60 popular hawkers, eateries and restaurants (three of each category) were initially shortlisted by the SFBA organising committee and advisory panel for the voting phase.
An award ceremony was held at the Singapore Favourite Food Village to honor the culinary heroes and they received the awards from Guest-of-Honour Mr Teo Ser Luck, Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry.
To enjoy your favourite food at the SFF Village in flash, do remember to get your NETS Flash card. Payment can only be made using NETS Flash card to purchase your food. There are counters set up at both end of the SFF Village where you can purchase it. Top up machines are also readily available at the SFF Village.
