It has been year since I last stepped into New York Dessert Cafe (NYDC). Since I have a NYDC voucher, I decided to go there for dinner before the voucher expired.

The Meatball that ate Manhattan 4/5

The Meatball Spaghetti that comes with a tennis ball sized meatball. I have never seen such a huge meatball before. For the size, I was worried that the meatball may not be cooked probably. To my relief it tasted pretty good and the tangy tomato sauce brings the whole dish together.

Southwestern Cajun Chicken 4/5

The Cajun Chicken was crisp on the outside and juicy in the inside. It is served with boiled broccoli and herb butter rice. Nothing special. Just a nice simple hearty dish.

Elmer Fudge (aka Ugly Cake) 4.5/5

The meal ended in a high note with the Elmer Fudge dessert. The slice of dense mocha cake with chocolate frosting was served warm. Ugly but moist and full of flavours.

  1. personally feel that standard has dropped for the mains. But the desserts (cakes) are still darn good!
