Out Of The Pan @ Raffles City Shopping Centre

The restaurant is located just beside the fountain area at Raffles City Shopping Mall. Many times I have walked passed the restaurant but have never eaten at the restaurant. Little did I know that the restaurant exactly belongs to the Swissotel Hotel management and they have innovated a new way of enjoying crepe. Apparently the restaurant recently just underwent a renovation spotting a new blue and white theme.

The crepe came in two choices, either plain or sun dried tomato. For the fillings, there were quite a variety of authentic flavour such as Peking duck, spicy Korean pork, black pepper beef for example. I had the sun dried tomato crepe with black pepper beef. I was very impressed with the creation and how good the combination turned out.

Spageddies Italian Kitchen @ Orchard Central

It is our monthly kaki gathering cum birthday celebration. Initially we wanted to go to Crystal Jade at Orchard Central but we found that the restaurant had closed its door. Hence we ended up at Spageddies Italian Kitchen.

For sharing, we ordered the Primo Combo and the wood fired Hawaiian pizza. The Primo Combo has a triple treat of calamari, mozzarella and soft shell crab served with homemade tartar and neapolitan sauce for dipping. Nothing very impressive but decent.

The wood fired Hawaiian pizza with the spread of pineapple, ham, mushroom and mozzarella cheese was a delightful enjoyment with its crispy crust.

I had one of the popular combo dishes, oven baked lobster and deep fried crispy chicken spaghetti. The spaghetti was served in garlic cream sauce. The fried chicken seasoning was yummy and the lobster was done in my favourite black pepper sauce.

A few of us in the group shared the Seafood Sizzlelini. The messy pan consisted a sizzling skillet of succulent prawns, scallops, mussels, crayfish, marinated onions and bell pepper served with spaghetti in a spicy neapolitan sauce.
