IMG_3963

Numb Restaurant at Marina One celebrates its 2nd Anniversary with the launch of an exciting lineup of new seasonal Sichuan dishes, each crafted with the modern flair for which the restaurant is known.

IMG_3932

From now until 9 Nov 2025, diners can enjoy 50% off their highest-priced dish from the new menu with a minimum spend of $50. Plus, those who order the Spicy Chongqing Chilli Chicken ($40.80) and reply “Labubu Spicy” when prompted by the staff will unlock a complimentary upgrade to the upsized portion.

Golden Bliss Jasmine Tea, Fortune Blossom Jasmine Matcha

We began our meal with two new cold-crafted tea drinks, the Golden Bliss Jasmine Tea ($7.80) and the Fortune Blossom Jasmine Matcha ($7.80). Both were light, refreshing and carried pleasant floral notes.

Iberico Pork Belly with Garlic Sauce 4/5

Playfully presented, the Iberico Pork Belly with Garlic Sauce ($19.80) featured slices of boiled pork belly, drizzled with a tangy chilli and vinegar mix, alongside cucumber ribbons, ready to be dipped. The cucumbers provided a good balance of freshness and added crunch.

IMG_3968
Sichuan Beer-Braised Duck with Potatoes 4/5

The Sichuan Beer-Braised Duck with Potatoes ($34.80) arrived sizzling in a claypot, with tender chunks of duck stewed in a rich braise. This would be good to have with white rice.

Golden Broth Crispy Rice Pot with Abalone and Seafood 3/5

Next was the Golden Broth Crispy Rice Pot with Abalone and Seafood ($46.80), which had a bed of brown rice mixed with prawns, abalone slices, edamame, carrots, and corn, topped with puffed rice. It was a pity that the broth leaned slightly bland and was overpowered by the brown rice’s nuttiness.

Classic Chengdu Seabass in Sour Pickled Soup 4.2/5

The Classic Chengdu Seabass in Sour Pickled Soup ($39.80 for Small, $49.80 for Large) is from the existing menu and was just as satisfying as on our previous visits. The bowl came brimming with tender slices of seabass, enoki mushrooms, and Sichuan pickled cabbage. What stood out was the broth, which was flavourful yet clean, with a drinkable tang and a gentle heat that even spice-sensitive diners can enjoy.

With great food, drinks, and entertainment, it makes for a lively weekend hangout spot.

Liberty8
Asahi Draft

Kick off the weekend with the Asahi Draft 1-for-1 Promotion, where you get 2 pints for the price of 1. A refreshing way to unwind after a long week – cheers to the weekend!

Liberty27
Nori Truffle Fries 4/5

To go along with the drinks, there’s a variety of bar snacks. A crowd-pleaser is the Nori Truffle Fries ($12). The crispy fries are topped with parmesan and served with truffle mayo, adding a touch of indulgence to the classic bar snack.

Liberty10
Weekend Special (2 Brunch Mains for $59) - Liberty Breakfast 4/5

Weekend Special: 2 Brunch Mains for $59. The Liberty Breakfast ($32) is a hearty all-day breakfast platter comprising Butifarra and Chorizo sausages, bacon, asparagus, mushrooms, hash browns, sourdough, and your choice of eggs. A generous and satisfying brunch plate that works anytime of the day.

Liberty15
Liberty Burger 4/5

The Liberty Burger with Fries ($32) features a juicy grilled wagyu patty, paired with aged cheddar, streaky bacon, caramelised onions, and Liberty’s signature BBQ sauce. Sandwiched between fluffy buns and served with crispy fries, it’s a comforting and well-executed classic.

Liberty22
Prawn Tagliatelle 4.5/5

The standout among the brunch mains is the Prawn Tagliatelle ($34). Cooked perfectly al dente, the pasta is coated in a robust sambal lobster bisque, with tobiko adding delightful bursts of briny flavour. Two large, fresh prawns, grilled to perfection, crown the dish – a must-try for seafood lovers.

Liberty2
Artisanal Pizza from 3.5/5

Artisanal pizzas are also available from $12.90. We tried the Margherita ($26), made with Poolish dough that combines Italian Caputo flour with Japanese flour. The result is a light and airy crust, though the flavours leaned towards the safe side.

Liberty17

Liberty21
Smoked Meat Platter 4.5/5

The Smoked Meat Platter (U.P. $138, now $98) is a huge weekend steal. It comes with 200g of Char Siu Pork Belly and 200g of Kalbi Short-rib – both succulent, tender, and deeply flavourful. Tong Le Private Dining @ OUE Tower - Singapore’s Only Revolving Restaurant Welcomes New Senior Executive Chef

TongLePrivateDining8

Perched atop OUE Tower, Tóng Lè Private Dining remains Singapore’s only revolving restaurant, but the panoramic views are just the beginning of its appeal. Celebrating a new chapter in both culinary vision and leadership, the restaurant welcomes Senior Executive Chef Dicky, a maestro with 36 years of international experience across 5 countries and 8 cities. Supported by a dedicated team, he introduces a fresh collection of contemporary Chinese menus that revive treasured recipes with exquisite finesse and creative flair.

Chef Dicky’s approach is both respectful and bold – honouring tradition while embracing reinvention. Guests can experience his creations through thoughtfully curated menus:
- Executive Lunch Menu from $68++
- Cloud Brocade Dinner Menu from $138++
- Vegetarian Whispers of the Earth Menu at $88++

TongLePrivateDining1
Caviar, Black Truffle, Golden Croaker and Tofu 5/5

The meal opens with a show-stopping quartet. A tin of Kaluga Caviar, paired with a mother-of-pearl spoon, reveals a layer of Homemade Tofu and Putian Fujian Premium Seaweed beneath, a rare seasonal ingredient harvested by hand and prized for its umami sweetness. Next, a jet-black orb that appears to be a whole truffle is in fact deep-fried Black Truffle Tofu. It is crisp on the outside, silky within. Completing the ensemble is a Longjing tea-smoked Wild Golden Croaker, delivering a delicate smokiness and a lingering fragrance of fine tea.

TongLePrivateDining4
Double-boiled Sea Cucumber in Enriched Fish Broth, Pickled Plum, Tomato 4.8/5

The Double-boiled Sea Cucumber in a refined fish broth with Chaoshan pickled plum and tomato is a masterclass in restraint. It is light yet layered, with savoury, umami, and tangy notes dancing delicately on the palate.

TongLePrivateDining6
Braised Fish Maw in Noble ‘Tanfu’ Broth, Fine Chopped Coriander 4.5/5

In contrast, the Braised Fish Maw in Noble 'Tanfu' Broth is bold and textural. The viscous, collagen-rich soup is packed with silky fish maw strips, beautifully rounded off with fresh coriander.

TongLePrivateDining11
Braised Wild Golden Croaker, Fresh Bean Curd Sheet, Iceberg Lettuce 4.2/5

Chef Dicky transports diners to 1980s Hong Kong with this nostalgic Cantonese classic. Simmered in an intensely flavoured chicken consommé, the Braised Wild Golden Croaker is buttery and soft, nestled on fresh bean curd sheets and iceberg lettuce. The sauce alone deserves its own spotlight, perfect with a bowl of steamed white rice.

TongLePrivateDining12
Sweet and Sour Lion's Mane Mushrooms 4.2/5

A delightful vegetarian take on the classic sweet and sour pork. Meaty Lion’s Mane Mushrooms are enveloped in a light batter, fried to perfection, and tossed in a well-balanced sweet and sour sauce that’s sticky, tangy, and deeply satisfying.

TongLePrivateDining19
Claypot Foie Gras Fried Rice, Saga-gyu, Black Pepper, Cramelized Soy Sauce 4.2/5

The Claypot Foie Gras Fried Rice is a triumph of texture and flavour, smoky from caramelised soy sauce, buttery with Saga-gyu, and deeply savoury from cubes of foie gras. The pièce de résistance? Crispy scorched rice at the bottom of the pot.

TongLePrivateDining21
Sauerkraut Consomme Braised Vermicelli 4.2/5

The humble-looking Sauerkraut Consomme Braised Vermicelli hides a powerhouse of flavour. Made with springy noodles from Hsinchu, Taiwan, and braised in a tangy, spicy sauerkraut consommé, this dish surprises with its rich infusion, complemented by sweet king prawns, scallops, and slivers of Chinese celery.

TongLePrivateDining28
Pumpkin and Jasmine Pudding, Black Rice Syrup, Coconut Milk 4/5

Shaped like a golden peony, the Pumpkin and Jasmine Pudding is surrounded at the table with a moat of black rice syrup and coconut milk – reminiscent of bubur pulut hitam, reimagined with floral, delicate elegance.

TongLePrivateDining26
Creamy Strawberry, Lychee, Raspberry Crisp, Rose Cookie 4.5/5

Inspired by Pierre Hermé’s Ispahan, this dreamy dessert layers Strawberry Cream, Lychee, Raspberry Crisps, and Rose Cookie crumble, a French-Asian hybrid that’s as intricate as it is indulgent.

TongLePrivateDining32
Cave Bird's Nest in Tung Lok's Ruby Peach Tea Syrup, Kiwi Jelly, Fresh Fox Nuts 4.2/5

A visual marvel, the Cave Bird's Nest dessert features green kiwi jellies, fox nuts, and microgreens, bathed in ruby peach tea syrup. It’s like tasting a painting by Monet.

TongLePrivateDining29
Double-boiled Egg Custard in Young Coconut, Cave Bird's Nest, Gula Apong 5/5

The Double-boiled Egg Custard in Young Coconut comprises of snow-white egg custard, steamed in a young coconut and topped with Cave Bird’s Nest and Gula Apong from Sarawak, is delicate, comforting, and luxuriously sweet with a hint of smokiness.

Chef Dicky’s menus at Tóng Lè Private Dining elevate Chinese cuisine to a new pinnacle – not just with premium ingredients, but through stories, textures, and deep respect for culinary heritage. Whether you're revisiting beloved classics or exploring novel flavour pairings, each course is a celebration of time-honoured tradition reinterpreted for the modern palate.

Oscar's @ Conrad Centennial Singapore - The Sea, Smoke & Spice New Themed Buffet Experience

Seafood on Ice 1

Known for its generous spreads and lively live stations, Oscar's at Conrad Singapore Marina Bay presents two new themed dinner experiences: The Sea, Smoke & Spice and Flavours of Yesteryear. Celebrating both the bold and the familiar, each theme invites diners to savour distinct culinary stories, from flame-kissed signatures to comforting heirloom recipes.

Seafood on Ice 2

We tried The Sea, Smoke & Spice theme buffet, and here's our review.

Seafood on Ice 5

Seafood on Ice 3

The evening begins with a refreshing taste of the sea. The Seafood Bar featuring freshly shucked Oysters, Slipper Lobsters, Mussels and Flower Crabs is not to be missed. We especially enjoyed the oysters that were sweet, plump, and incredibly fresh.

Jamon 2

A surprise highlight was the freshly sliced Jamón. We recommend pairing it with the sweet melon from the fruit section for a classic, satisfying combination.

Risotto 1

Risotto 2

Another standout for us was the Mushroom Risotto. Served with whipped Chantilly and sautéed mushrooms, it's finished in a dramatic Parmesan wheel. The al dente rice was creamy and well-seasoned, with rich, earthy mushroom notes that packed a punch.

Lamb Shoulder 2
Slow-Roasted Lamb Shoulder

Chermoula Fish Pot 2
Chermoula Fish Pot

For those who love deep, bold flavours, the Slow-Roasted Lamb Shoulder, infused with aromatic spices, was tender and juicy, with a savoury richness. The Chermoula Fish Pot featured flaky fish marinated in North African herbs and spices. Both dishes were flavourful, though potentially a little heavy for those with lighter palates.

Oven Roasted Striploin
Oven Roasted Marinated Angus Beef Striploin

Pulled Beef Sliders & Marinated Spanish Octopus
Pulled Beef Sliders and Marinated Spanish Octopus

The Oven-Roasted Marinated Angus Beef Striploin was a crowd-pleaser, especially when paired with the variety of sauces offered. We found the Pulled Beef Sliders to be a little dry, although the flavour came through well. The Marinated Spanish Octopus, served on a soft jacket potato with sour cream and olive oil, leaned salty. While the potato was beautifully cooked, crispy on the outside and soft within, we found it slightly overpowered the octopus.

Outdoor BBQ 1

Outdoor BBQ 4

Outdoor BBQ 3

The heart of the Sea, Smoke & Spice experience lies at the Live Charcoal BBQ. Smoky and sizzling from the grill:

• Sticky Australian Lamb Ribs
• Spice-rubbed Hanger Steak
• Kurobuta Pork Tomahawk
• Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms

Locally farmed Barramundi and Tara-marinated prawns grilled just right added a coastal flourish to the mix.

Tandoori 2

Right next to the BBQ, don’t miss the Sizzling Tandoori Delights. We loved the Tandoori Chicken and Seabass, and the Chukandari Paneer Tikka stood out for its bold seasoning. Pair everything with fresh naan bread for a complete experience.

Laksa 1

A must-have at Oscar’s: the Signature Seafood Laksa at the Live Noodles Station. Rich, creamy and comforting, served with tofu puff, prawns, fish cake and a quail egg.

Dessert - Strawberry 1
Fresh Strawberries

Dessert - Strawberry 2
Macarons

To end on a sweet note, the buffet's dessert selection is a dream come true for strawberry lovers. Fresh strawberries shine across shortcakes, praline tarts, mousse domes, and the signature Strawberry Romanoff. The fruit's tartness and aroma cut through the savoury dishes with perfect balance.

Dessert - Strawberry 5
Almond Strawberry Tart

Dessert - Strawberry 7
Strawberry Cheesecake

Dessert - Strawberry 1=4
Strawberry-Inspired Chocolate Bar

Other strawberry-inspired delights include:

• Almond Strawberry Tart
• Strawberry Cheesecake
• Strawberry-infused Chocolate Bar
• Strawberry Panna Cotta
• Macarons

Dessert - Strawberry 9
Strawberry Pannacotta

The Sea, Smoke & Spice dinner buffet is available from Wednesdays to Saturdays, 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and is priced at S$96++ per adult and S$48++ per child (aged 6 to 12). Reservations are highly recommended at https://www.sevenrooms.com/experiences/oscars
