Lao Ban Soya Beancurd (老伴豆花) @ Old Airport Road Food Centre

If you love Beancurd, you should try Lao Ban Soya Beancurd at Old Airport Road Food Centre. Lao Ban Soya Beancurd comes in 2 flavours, original and almond. The stall is quite famous. There is always a long queue and they buy in bulk!

Beancurd usually is white in colour but Lao Ban Soya Beancurd is light brown in colour. The Beancurd itself was already sweet so it was not served with sugar syrup like other stall. It also has a special melt in the mouth jelly pudding like texture.

Soya Beancurd 4.5/5

  1. Try the QQ one, also at old airport road. Nicer and much shorter waiting time. I prefer QQ one over the other 2 beancurd stalls. =)

  3. I tried Lao Ban and it was nice. But the queue is too much. Went Marine Parade Food Centre under friend's recommendation, there is a stall "Kimly Dessert" also selling the same type of soya beancurd. No queue and IMHO, the taste is much better. Less sweeter and find it smoother too.

  13. I tried soya house which has many outlets across sg. They have freshly made soymilk and a variety of cold beancurd flavours... Just tried their matcha "cupcurd" at tampines.. Not bad idea to eat/drink beancurd from a cup

  16. Review - House Of Yi Kang Dessert at Blk 2, Upper Aljunied Lane, #01-19 - Chilled soya beancurd - tasted and this is the feedback. extremely silky, smooth and soft. Taste wise, really different from LB, 51 and QQ which have the malt taste very strong. Theirs is more soyabean and pandan taste. Saw a guy grinding the soyabeans when i was there to buy. Their lady boss is also very friendly. Thumbs up and keep up the good work!!
