Glamabox

IMG_2374

I am not someone who is good at surprises and when I came across Keropokman's blog on Glamabox I thought that is a brillant idea to give my partner a surprise.

Lisa S, celebrity fashion model is the co-founder of Glamabox. Most of you may know her for being the wife of Hong Kong actor Daniel Wu. Glamabox also has their own youtube video page. Check out the welcome note from Lisa S.

How does it work? Each month for a mere $18, a selection of 4-5 products that ranges from skincare to makeup to cult beauty tools from well known brands as well as emerging gems are selected by Glamabox that they have tried (and retried).

I think I am more excited than my partner when she told me she received the parcel from Glamabox.
I asked her to bring it out and show me the packaging and what is the surprises inside it.

The packaging is really nice ... and let's reveal what is inside the parcel...

For the month of March 2012, the following surprises are in the parcel.

1) Crabtree & Evelyn gardeners 60 second hand recovery cream
2) Lierac Paris travel set
3) Organix Moroccan argan oil shampoo
4) Clinque color palette colour surge eye shadow duo

I am looking forward or rather my partner what will be inside the parcel next month?

Note:
This is not an advertorial. I just want to share with my readers something nice I get to know.

363 Katong Laksa @ Holland Village

IMG_2364

I have heard of Marine Parade Laksa, 49 Katong Laksa and 328 Katong Laksa. At Holland Village there is an eatery along Lorong Liput that sells 363 Katong Laksa. I tried to look up its history but could not find anything to give me more insight of this eatery. Share with me if you know, thank you in advance.

Besides selling Laksa, the stall also sells otak. They even have a combo meal which comes with a bowl of laksa, a can drink and a piece of otak. If you are not into laksa, the eating house also sells Nasi Lemak.

Laksa 4.2/5

The Laksa comes in 3 different sizes. $3.70 for Small, $4.20 for Medium and $5.20 for Large. I ordered the small bowl which came with cockles, fish cakes and prawns. The silky rice noodle can be easily scoop up with the spoon. The gravy was not as rich and coconuty but had a nice balance of spiciness and smoothness that made the bowl of laksa very enjoyable.
