Cedele @ Raffles City Shopping Centre

Eat Well Be Well for Life..that is the slogan at Cedele. A place where you find fresh and healthy food.

My meal starts with the Portobello and other Fungi Salad. The salad had pan fried plum portobello, shitake, button and oyster mushrooms topped with Balsamic and Olive Oil dressing. The vegetables were fresh and sweet which means they were not old which will taste bitter.

The Grilled Chicken Avocado with Brie Sandwiches was another yummy dish. The freshness of the ingredients just brought the dish together.

The Patty Cakes of Crab Scallion and Spiced Moist Chermoulah Chicken served with citrus lime sauce were a delightful snack dish that was well cooked and packed with juicy crab and chicken meat.

Geylang Claypot Rice @ Geylang

It was a dinner gathering with my colleagues. Apparently the group wanted to visit this place quite a while back but never got the opportunity. The food ordering was done by one of our colleagues who has eaten here several times. There were 10 of us and we have quite a feast.

The Pork Ribs were well cooked and tasted good in the sweet sauce.

The Lotus Root Duck was probably the favourite for all of us. The duck meat was moist, tender and cooked perfectly.

The rest of the dishes were also pretty good. I was really satisfied with the standard of the food served.

The main highlight was the Claypot Rice. We requested the server to separate the ingredients and mix the dark sweet sauce for the rice. The Claypot Rice had chicken, chinese sausages and salted fish. Unfortunately the Claypot was not my favourite. I think the rice lacked the fragrant and texture.
