Fu Cheng Shu Si @ West Coast Market Square

My trip to West Coast Market Square brought me to another interesting stall. This stall sells only Tau Suan and You Tiao. The stall also made the You Tiao on the spot. The Tau Suan was good and not watery. If not for the earlier black fried carrot cake, I probably would have ordered another You Tiao to go with the Tau Suan.

Gui Ji @ West Coast Market Square

This is a one man stall so do expect some waiting time. While waiting, you can enjoy watching the stall uncle dancing around his kitchen preparing and frying the carrot cake. Guess what, you have to be your own cashier too. You just placed the money for your order into the little money bucket at the stall. If you need a change for your order, you just help yourself to it from the money bucket.

The stall sells fried carrot cake from 6am to 2pm. After 2pm, the stall sells fried hokkien mee. To get here, alight at Clementi MRT station, take bus 189 from the bus stop at exit B. West Coast Market Square is only two bus stops away.
