Saboten @ Changi Airport Terminal 1

New restaurants have been opening up at Changi Airport Terminal 1 with the terminal upgrading at the viewing hall completed. One of the latest tenants is Saboten, a Japanese restaurant.

The restaurant aroused my interests with its various sauces and storage containers. The sweet sauce for the katsu dip was stored in a traditional pottery with a traditional Japanese ladle. The grinder for the sesame seeds came in the form of a wooden stick.

I called this the twin tower. They are the sauces for the cabbage.

The Loin Katsu was nice but not the best. A bit disappointed that the loin had a layer of fats which was slightly thick to my likings.

  1. You should try the tenderloin. That's similar to the loin, sans the fat. Though the pork is slightly less tasty, its still quite okay and definitely easier on the heart.
