Seoul Yummy @ Novena Square 2

Walk passed the restaurant and noticed that it was having a special set meal promo for 2 at $33.99 ++. It came with 6 complimentary side dishes,  2 hot/cold barley tea, choice of 1 noodle/rice dish, hotplate and soup. I thought the price was quite reasonable so I settled for the restaurant to have my dinner.

Both the drink and side dishes were refillable. The barley tea was nothing special but basically barley water. The side dishes were decent but did not impress me much.

The 6 side dishes 3.8/5

For the choices of the main, I had the fried saba fish, mixed vege stone pot rice with beef and spicy kimchi hotpot with pork. Fortunately, the mains were good and value for money. The portions were also quite big considered that it was a promotional set meal.

Peach Garden Noodle House @ Changi Airport Terminal 1

Peach Garden has opened a new restaurant, Peach Garden Noodle House at Changi Airport Terminal 1 transit area. Besides noodle dishes, it also offers dim sum on its menu. I had the Noodle Soup with BBQ pork and egg. The soup was quite nice with the wolfberry flavour. Unfortunately the dish did not come together with the different ingredients. It was quite ordinary considered Peach Garden is an established brand.

Out Of The Pan @ Raffles City Shopping Centre

The restaurant is located just beside the fountain area at Raffles City Shopping Mall. Many times I have walked passed the restaurant but have never eaten at the restaurant. Little did I know that the restaurant exactly belongs to the Swissotel Hotel management and they have innovated a new way of enjoying crepe. Apparently the restaurant recently just underwent a renovation spotting a new blue and white theme.

The crepe came in two choices, either plain or sun dried tomato. For the fillings, there were quite a variety of authentic flavour such as Peking duck, spicy Korean pork, black pepper beef for example. I had the sun dried tomato crepe with black pepper beef. I was very impressed with the creation and how good the combination turned out.
