Ngee Kee Fried Hokkien Mee @ Changi Airport T2

I have heard from my colleagues that the fried hokkien mee at T2 staff canteen is good. I finally got a chance to try it today. The fried hokkien mee stall seems quite famous. It used to be located at the Centrepoint open air carpark. The fried hokkien mee is the wet type. I like their self made chilli too.

Element Restaurant @ Amara Hotel

The hotel restaurant serves buffet breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner. My friend booked a section of the restaurant to celebrate his 1 year old daughter's birthday. He told me he chose this place because he can book from 1230pm-4pm while most hotels' restaurants only from 3pm-5pm.

I guess most Singapore hotel's buffet are quite standard nowadays. They have a spread of salad bar, japanese food, cooked food, local delicacy, pastry and dessert.

Pastamania @ Harbour Front Centre

It has been ages since I ate at Pastamania. So long that I cannot remember when was my last visit. Probably during my schooling days?

Anyway I was in to a little surprise. Their pasta was indeed quite nice especially the tomato sauce they used. They have improved a lot. However, the soup still had room for improvement.

Swee Choon Tim Sum Restaurant @ Jalan Besar

This is one hidden find at Jalan Besar. Beside dim sum, they sell handmade noodles too. What caught my attention is there unique dish such as crispy eggplant with meat floss and mee sua kueh.

It is a distance from the MRT station but easily accessible. Exit Farrer Park MRT, walk towards Mustafa Centre and stroll down Syed Alwi street. At the end of Syed Alwi street and Jalan Besar road junction make a right turn and you will find the restaurant.

Zhong Hua Steamboat.Ramen @ Beach Road

Met my friends at Bugis and we decided to go for steamboat. There are quite a number of steamboat restaurants in Bugis area and we settled with this restaurant. We ordered the yin yang soup base (tom yam and chicken). It has a wide variety of food. They even have scallops, clams and crabs. You can also create your own sauce. The food is not fantastic but definitely value for money.

Mei Heong Yuen Dessert @ ION Orchard

I realized this is my third post on Mei Heong Yuen dessert. Looks like I really like their dessert alot. If you want to try out their dessert, it is better to go to their main outlet at Chinatown temple street. The ION outlet has limited sitting area.

Bali Thai @ ION Orhard

There were long queues everywhere at ION and it was quite hard to find a restaurant for a group of five unless you are willing to wait up to at least half an hour. Since ome of us were craving for Thai food and there was no queue at Bali Thai, we decided to give it a try. Most of us ordered the dinner set which came with a Main + drink + dessert at $12.70++.
