Mei Heong Yuen Dessert @ Temple Street

I have always wanted to try the dessert here. The place is always crowded and very hard to find a seat. I finally got my chance today and the dessert didn't let me down.

Mei Heong Yuen Dessert @ ION Orchard

Met my friend for dinner at ION orchard and we ended up at this dessert stall at the basement of ION after dinner. Mei Heong Yuen Dessert sounds familiar isn’t it? The main branch is at Chinatown.

As the weather is pretty hot and humid lately, we went for the cold dessert. We ordered Lychee & Watermelon Snow Ice, Mango & Strawberry Snow Ice and Almond & Sesame Snow Ice. Beauty shaved ice dessert that was refreshing for the hot weather.

Yong's cooked food @ Changi Airport T1

Changi Airport Terminal 1 staff canteen which is located at the basement of T1 is also open to the public. You can access via the arrival hall. You can find most of your local food here and it is reasonable priced.

I felt like having something light today so I ordered porridge from Yong. It was actually a "mixed vegetable rice" stall but they do sell porridge too. I ordered bitter gourd, bean sprouts and fish.

Qiu Lian ban mian @ Changi Airport T3

For those that have not been to Changi Airport for a while. You will be surprised that you can find a wide variety of food available at the 3 terminals. There is a food court at the basement of the newly built Terminal 3. As I was craving for something warm and soupy, I ordered Qiu Lian ban mian. I liked the thick and rich soup of the ban mian.

The Market @ Central

Not many people would have notice this place tuck right at the corner of basement 1. The name "The Market" probably suggested why a lot of people may not realise there is a restaurant selling pasta and soup.

The set meals come with a main course, a soup plus a choice of salad or free flow drink. You will get to choose your choice of pasta, soup and salad. I settled for a minestrone soup which was nice and tasty. For the salad, I went for the caesar which was my favourite. It did not disappoint me. Lastly the main, carbonara spaghetti. Creamy and nice. The restaurants at Central are usually quite crowded. If you want to avoid the crowd or prefer a quieter place, I found this place quite a steal.
