Shokudo Japanese Coffee House @ Bugis Junction

I wonder why the restaurant is called coffee house when it has a wide menu selections ranging from Japanese Western grills, burgers, pasta, pizza, Japanese curry rice, udon, sushi rolls and dessert? Anyway, I met up with my friends and we wanted to have dinner at Nando's. There was a long queue and we were too hungry to wait hence we walked over to Shokudo.

We ordered a main each and a pizza to share. Both the grilled chicken and tonkatsu curry omu rice were nice. It had a runny scrambled egg covering the rice. The Japanese curry was served separately and you can add it to your own preference. A very enjoyable dish with the rice, egg and curry sauce coming together.

Tossed in wafu sauce and dressed with Japanese Mushroom, this pasta dish was both light and filling.

A unique mixed of seafood and avocado cubes in wafu cream sauce made this dish extremely gratifying.

The pizza was light, filling and crispy with ultra thin and crispy crust topped with unagi, mushroom and cheese.
